Desynced has been a passion project created by Charlotte Tuohy (known online as “dizzims.”) for over 6 years now, resulting in over 1000 pages, 22 flashes and 9 music albums. With Act 1 recently being updated and rewritten, there has never been a better time to jump into the fantastical world of Desynced.
Set in a world similar to our own, Desynced follows main characters Kate Bedford and (eventually) Enid Carrion in 2019 as a predestined global catastrophe begins to unfold, leaving it up to our main cast to survive, figure out how deep the grand conspiracy goes and how exactly they each factor in its purpose.
While Desynced may quickly remind you of familiar concepts, nothing will be quite as you remember it. A world ending video game, horned aliens, dreaming moons and aspects are all still here but with a fresh coat of paint and made its own, letting veteran readers re-experience these concepts like they are new again.
However, Desynced will be a much more personal and serious story, exploring lots of heavy themes and concepts while not holding back the disturbing and messiness of them. As such, Desynced is very much intended for older audiences.
