I'm happy to stumble upon a thread like this. It's a shame that Andrew Hussie didn't put any more effort into writing the dancestors, you can see that he tried to (with all the parallels shown) and that there was some brief vision there but he didn't really commit or care in the end. While I liked Openbound, it was kind of a pain to sit through LOL but maybe if there was more love put in these terrible caricatures to round them more, I would say it would have been a really fun [S].

Not to mention, it would have been fun to explore the beta trolls and the alpha trolls interactions. Kankri would have been one of the coolest characters if Andrew Hussie just locked in.
