i will eternally go to bat for Octopus Pie, which has been done for... oh god like eight years now? but there's been a couple one-off stories since.

it starts off as kind of a goofy episodic comic about hipster brooklynites (NO WAIT WAIT KEEP READING) but gradually becomes more serialized and starts get into the ways its characters tick. it reminds me a little bit of Liminal Space in that regard.

the author, Meredith Gran, made a p'n'c-adventure game called Perfect Tides that was good, but is currently working on its sequel that... i really think might end up being one of the best adventure games of all time. i got to playtest a little and it was like magic.

oh and then GODHEAD which is basically a fraf so why aren't y'all reading it. no one is doing it like carmi
