Totally a Sylph, and to your credit we know so little about that class so interpretation goes double for it. As for aspect, that's the tricky bit. You used a lot of buzz words for different aspects! Helping people THINK for themselves implies Mind, clouded feelings and doubt is a Rage thing, and you specifically mentioned splinters, which is a Heart thing. Thinking for yourself also implies freedom, which is a Breath deal. My gut says Sylph of Mind, and one of my abilities relies on going with my gut lol.
