in the discord server that this feferi exists in called ghost ships, vriska's ancestor, marquise mindfang was brought back from death in an equally convoluted but distinct scenario to feferi being brought back. and these two bonded very quickly because mindfang was like "I will establish a relationship with this fuchsia so I can manipulate her into a political pawn. She will rise to her birthright as a empress and she will be mine to control." and Feferi was like "Yippie affection!!!!"

but things went awry and mindfang ended up catching feelings for her and may have also accidentally orchestrated feferi turning into a cult leader and said cult sacrificing feferi so she could ascend into a horrorterror. so mindfang worked to find a way for feferi to be a normal girl again and shenanigans ensued as they are want to do
