- My account verification email hasn't been sent.

During the night following launch, there was an issue with Gmail blocking verification emails after a large influx of users. This issue has been fixed, if you or someone you know has not recieved an email please note that a "resend email" feature has been implemented. If you still cannot sign in past the resend, please email [email protected] detailing your issue.

- Trouble signing up / "Failed to register a new account"

Make sure that every field is filled out, as all are required.

We are aware there are currently not error messages showing required textboxes/character limits. If you have filled everything out, make sure that your username/display are not too long or short. [awaiting exact numbers to place here from admin.]

- My birthdate / age is listed as the wrong number.

There is currently an issue where the numbers sometimes round up rather than down for timestamps.

- I can't edit my profile.
There is currently an issue where you cannot edit your profile if you have your age hidden. As your birthday currently does not have a moderation use aside from barring those under 13, and is capable of being edited, in the meantime I would recommend changing yours to something else if you are uncomfortable sharing that information and need to edit your profile. Expect changes to this policy in the future.

- Are "canon" usernames allowed?

MOST canon names i.e docscratch are allowed to be used for usernames. HOWEVER, there are certain usernames which are banned, and if you somehow obtain them we will soon be approaching you about changing your username. As per Miles:

we only actually RESERVED a few specific names, under the following criteria, for the main 8 kids and the main 12 trolls and a few miscellaneous others:

- First Name

- Last Name

- First and Last Name

- chat handle

The text of forum posts currently uses Rich Text Formatting (RTF). Implementation of more complex formatting abilities, such as text color, are planned. The forum will continue using RTF.
(Personal note not representative of the rest of the team: I am still fighting in the trenches for BBCode implementation but that is not currently being considered. Please help me.)
