Do we think if Equius locked in even just a little he coulda smoked Gamzee? Something about Gamzee's reaction to Caliborn's automatic gunfire later-- which is reasonable-- makes me think a real blue blood Zahhaymaker would have turned the clown into a stain on the wall. This also might be cope, though. Probably not fully killing Gamzee cuz of course it wouldn't but at least winning the scrimmage.
