@awesomeloser, my personal two cents are that the revamped music is nicer to listen to on its own, but the OG soundtrack fit better theme-wise. Then again I haven't played very far into P1 yet so it may just be, like, an expectation for what the game's like. And I may be very wrong 😆

Anyway back to the OP's question, Iwas obsessed with Yosuke and Persona 4 was my lifeline for years before falling down ass first into Homestuck. Man I just keep accumulating fandoms from 2009 for some reason.
