I ended up just starting with 1966 Ultraman, I'm a few episodes in and this shit is awesome. I find it really funny how weird Hayata is so far, everyone will just be having regular conversation and he's standing there dead silent just looking around. I'm pretty sure the idea is for him to be stoic but I'm just imagining that he has no idea how to handle social situations.
