I feel with characters like Jake I just wish in original Homestuck there was more time to develop his character as well as others throughout act 6-7 and I get there was a lot of things happening during that era of updates but i still really love Jake as a character he's literally a victim of abuse and yet the way he's always victim blamed or played off as dumb is really frustrating and with beyond canon I was torn at what happened to him but as of now I just hope he steps up against his friends as ppl in the epilogues and post canon deadass didn't do anything to help him out even in the epilogues his own family like jade and the others def knew what was happening to some degree but just didn't do anything it wasn't until John decided to do something in the epilogues. hoping in beyond canon he just gets to go off on them more or something that one update when candy Jake yelled and actually did something against Jane was good hell yea esp with what were supposed to be his closest friends which also sucks because the alpha group almost had nobody else except with each other. I could go off but other ppl here also said what I wanted to say too
