In topic: "The Unofficial Homestuck Collection is dead and andrew hussie killed it"

This backs up how andrew hussie talks in his author notes. He talks genuinely like he kinda hates the fandom at large. This also fits in with the behavior after the sarah z debacle. They have been shown to be bad faith actors. They're doing that Anne rice things where they are hurting people with legal action over fanworks. Honestly Gio is being completely reasonable when he says don't give them your money.

I would also say, do not collaborate with them. There's no god reason to, when almost everyone who does comes out with stories of getting bullied to hell. With this being said there is a caveat to this. For the people who ARE involved with homestuck, the artists and so on. Let's assume most of them have no idea about this mess. As Gio stated, the problem isn't with artists, it's with management. This was scummy of them to do, and frankly is completely in character. If you want to support the artists, find their kofis/patreons/whatever and use that, let the offical homestuck stuff rot.

The strength of homestuck has always been its large and active fandom. When the powers that be attempt to censor that, it not only hurts us, but it hurts their bottom dollar. If they had simply been kinder and more reasonable with the homestuck unoffical collection, they could have made themselves a lot of money. I really think they owe Bambosh and Gio an apology.
