Jailbreak set up the two best and longest running extended gags in MSPA, the pumpkin and the stump. While Jailbreak itself is shorter than PS or HS, it still has the massive levels of Hussie escalation we have come to expecT; in fact, it set the bar. despite its length it manages to stand up to his later work and remains very entertaining. it is also the most carefree of the ms paint adventures, being the only one without consistent characters and plot, making it a different reading experience. also, I enjoyed the way the unexplained parts of it were referenced in PS. overall, jailbreak is the first of the classic mspas and feels just like a scaled down version of the next two tone-wise. they would go on a to get progressively more serious and plot driven while introducing more and more concrete character. PS is an escalation in the complexity, length, and style of jailbreak; and HS is the same for PS, though it became long enough that it was also able to significantly build on itself as well.
