In topic: "[META(?)] How do ya'll feel about the way the Homestuck brand is bering handled?"

i understand that this thread was posted prior to the reveal that hussie went to great lengths and equivalent legal expenses to try and nuke the objective best way (and for some time the only practical way) to read a webcomic that depends to a greater degree than any other on the web format seemingly to satisfy a personal vendetta.

that said, i don't feel great about it at present! i made an account on this busted forum (that there doesn't seem to be a quote function boggles the mind) for the express purpose of replying to this thread and saying how shitty it feels for the dead horse of a comic i loved and devoted the majority of my teen years get dragged out and flogged again every couple years. why are we even fussing with a whole new forum and all these special projects while the main work that all of them are based around languishes? it's bad prioritization, which has plagued homestuck and MSPA as business ventures from the second they started getting big.

you get the idea. at this point my opinion on how the brand is being handled is that hussie should have put their money where their mouth was at the end re: transferring control of canon to the fans and left well enough alone.
