Reading this post it seems to me that these negotiations were sort of like a trick. Why would you negotiate with one person first and keep the other one in the dark if not to cut that other person out? Miles here says he thought Hussie was "being paranoid" by wanting to make a deal with one person and not the other, and that the callout proved Hussie right about that somehow, but this is such an obviously self-fulfilling prophecy... That statement alone makes it impossible for me to believe the theory I saw higher up the thread where someone suggested it was the lawyers telling Hussie to keep it to just Bambosh. It seems Miles suggests that it was Hussie's idea and that makes sense to me. Hussie doesn't like this person.

You're well within your rights to think this Gio person is a grifter and shouldn't have been extended a deal, but then they and Bambosh were lied to. No? There's just no way to look at this that leaves Hussie and Miles blameless. They really messed up. It's sad to see.
