I was about to recommend Homeskillet but someone already did that... I did not know it was put on indefinite hiatus. I haven't actually finished Act 2 of it either. I'm actually a bit heartbroken now tbh. How could i live without you Homeskillet, I want to know. How do I breathe without you Homeskillet, if you ever go? How do I ever, ever survive?

Also thanks for the Billious Recommendation, I'm definitely putting that on my bucket list of MSPFAs to read.

Here are my recommendations.

Homestuck (Yes that is the name of this MSPFA) (https://mspfa.com/?s=34761&p=1): I admittedly haven't re-read it in years because it was in a broken state when MSPFA went down if i remember correctly, It was unlisted for years. It's also missing pages but those might just be retconned because this adventure did take a 3 year hiatus. But it's finally updating now. It basically starts out a bit like Homestuck but quickly diverges with Jade showing up with Bec in John's house. I still think it's a bit broken because the Custom CSS doesn't link to MSPFA or the Adventure Logs but instead the old MSPA website. Which is mildly annoying tbh. I also can't tell who the author is because of this. I remember this being one of the first adventures i read on MSPFA.

Alternate Universe (https://mspfa.com/?s=33953&p=1): Also one of the first MSPFA's i read website, heck maybe even the first one, can you pick up a pattern? Basically, this adventure is asking what if John high fiving the kernel sprite causes him to be prototyped. It's pretty good.

HSETAU (Homestuck Extra-terrestial Alternate Universe) (https://mspfa.com/?s=32611&p=1): This isn't actually one of the early ones I've read. But I've re-read this multiple times. To quote the adventure it's "A fanventure set in an alternate universe where the carapaces are aliens on Earth" It's just a really good AU. I think the characters are on point, the dialogue is very funny. I like the expanded Carapacian lore and i really like Spade Slick's relationship with Karkat here.

John Ruins a Wedding (https://mspfa.com/?s=51800&p=1): Set after the events of Homestuck, Karkat and Dave are having a wedding. John is going to ruin it by inviting Caliborn to it thinking he's somehow rewritten reality to cause this to happen (John is wrong on this, that's not a spoiler, he's just stupid.). Almost 1000 pages long, it's peak I'm afraid, and we haven't even gotten to the wedding.

Frank and Forthright Manner (https://mspfa.com/?s=54392&p=1): FedoraFreak's Session, and all that entails, submitted to us in a frank and forthright manner. It hasn't been updated in 8 months but i do hope it comes back eventually for Chapter 1 Section 2. It's a very well made MSPFA.

To be honest, this is the closest thing to a perfect MSPFA I've ever read. Not because Nepeta (might) not die here but because this feels like it could've literally been in Homestuck, it matches the art and writing of Homestuck very well. Like it's just that amazing. If there's only one thing you'd read from this list I'd recommend this first (Frank and Forthright Manner is second, i also highly recommend you read that one. It needs more love.)
