This is a weird headcanon that's been bumbling around my brain for a bit, as I've been watching horror movies and just wanting to create an AU. However, I've been thinking about how the trolls are very "bug-coded" and how that might contrast with humans, who are mammals. Both species have Vampires, so to speak, but I wonder if troll blood tastes different than human blood?

Human blood tastes like iron or is very salty. But what about trolls? I think Troll blood tastes sweet since many bugs also taste sweet when you eat them, like Ants and Bees. I think this also explains why they find some foods to be somewhat unappetizing. Like, Faygo all on its own is a bad soda, but if it tasted too much like some other revolting thing that trolls couldn't actually stand, like blood, it'd make sense. Like how some humans cannot stand to eat steak that is too rare because the blood taste is too powerful.
