Also this isn't a Homestuck thing, but something I noticed was that a lot of fandoms have used the term degenerate, which is a word that the Nazis have used to denote people/art that they didn't like, and guess which word these fans are using to describe fans/art they don't like? And it isn't just the Nazis, but other far-right/bigoted groups such as TERFs/white supremacists that are using this term.

Also the person who got made at me over the Vriska did nothing wrong joke called me a rape, and told me if I said Vriska did nothing wrong at university, I could get caught or something like that.
