There's nothing to gatekeep. The fandom has no "sanctity" to profane, no "dignity" to ruin. It has always been a hideous, slow-motion catastrophe, lurching from controversy to controversy, shitstorm after shitstorm, shipping war after shipping war. So I don't care what the new generation does because the old generation was an absolute nightmare.
