repo! the genetic opera is badly written, half the cast cant sing, the attempted political commentary is heavy handed and slapdash, the pacing is stupid and makes no sense, and its also one of the greatest movies ever made. all of the costume design is excellent and the songs somehow manage to be awesome despite also being bad half the time. and the climax of the movie is a deranged bloodbath. great movie to watch with friends to simultaneously dunk on it and riot when something cool happens
