There was just no point during the process of aging where I felt like I needed to stop being myself. I'm better at doing like, basic adult life things, but there was no point where I decided that I had to throw out all of the gaudy, colorful stuff that I like in order to affect a more 'adult' seeming image. You really can have your cake and eat it too.
