I appreciate that Hiveswap is one of the first things you can tick off to get notifications about. That being said, I think dedicated forums are still the place for me. Better pacing, more time to think through my words, less likely to get spammed with porn and gore, or have my messages randomly deleted, or any myriad number of possible controversies (this WILL happen). But having realtime updates and a consistent mod team with here is probably a good thing.
