You say that homestuck is not of the opinion that all sex should be reproductive however it could be seen as holding this opinion as an opinion rather than an outright demand since for many individuals in the universal their romantic orientation (being the most common one for their species) is directly tied to their species' method of reproduction (humans are straight, trolls are bi, and leprechauns are gay all because that is how they as creatures reproduce)
