From 2012 - 2016, I got secondhand exposure to homestuck upd8s by people I was following on tumblr, so when Caliborn: Enter dropped, I had a really weird perception of what was going on in the comic at that point.

I thought that all of the trolls and kids lived in a house together, and that they'd imprisoned Caliborn in their basement.

I also saw some talk about the kids being killed by LE (in the dream bubbles) being retconned, so I thought it was a given thing that Hussie would kill all of the kids, retcon to like 2 weeks prior, and then do it again.​
