Anyway the ironic thing in all this is that I actually DO think that including something that lays off the r-slurs a bit is a good idea, as an OPTION. The UHC Slur Replacement mod had the spirit right, but it's execution was lacking, but clearly someone could find the right way to make it work.


However the main thing I'd love to see Homestuck focus on in the future is officially-licensed translation efforts. They want to grow the audience again, and a great way to do that is making it an international audience. There are already completed translations into Korean, Russian, Spanish and traditional Chinese, as well as a Brazilian Portuguese that's nearly done (page 7646). I can't speak for their quality, obviously, but it's not going in raw, and it's not machine-translated, so I'm sure they hold plenty of value by virtue of existing at all.
