How much is Rose, how much is "These things just sorta happen" and how much is Terezi's machinations remain to be seen of course but it's interesting the influences are already lifting their heads.

Certainly the biggest mote of info we have, the chumhandles already promises some pretty particular overtures of the Rose/Dirk personal mores. If that's intentional or more like how all art is in some way a self portrait of the artist remains to be seen of course.

The notion Ly'lac suggests we won't be returning to the room promising a further spin up of Part 2, probably with the other delta players being encountered is similarly encouraging. If we meet all the Nymphs, then the satyrs, or a mixed bag with or without the omega kinds in the middle is a datum point I'm frankly eager to see play out, even if KISS probably suggests we'll be meeting AA, CC, TC, CT and AT given their reveal order. Formal or informal.

Also brings the question up of we'll be meeting the nymphs, getting to the zero hour of the omega kids' arrival and ly'lac's unplanned traumatic renovation of an open concept room, then the satyrs, or it all comes together with Ly'lac's horizontal ejection simulation that handily brings us back 1:1 with the indicated moment of The Helltier Express touching down.

Both make more than a little sense depending on how the frame story elements play out. This update in particular doesn't really service that, but elements like TC being confirmed to be "chilling out" and on the semi-official back burner as Ly'lac proceeds to retrieve what is obviously an important package, with us daisy chaining to AA either by Ly'lac confirming her reception of the item or AA detecting the anti-piracy software going off feels like the kind of arranged lead in we'd expect from Act 1 / Hivebent type character intro parades.

If indeed the "I have a feeling we won't be back in the room" foreshadow is more than literal for the audience but not her directly it does hint that we'll be doing the full circle and then outcross to the omegas, who might have their own moving time line.

Which handily would diagram as an infinity symbol of sorts. Fun that.

Of course getting a package and things going off the rails from there with your house never being the same is something we have seen before. Even if we do know Ly'lac gets claymore'd in front of her established computer in what we can assume is that specific room we've been introduced to but that just reinforces the notion we get through at least all the nymphs before returning to Ly'lac's brief errand of descending her tower, picking the red glowing item of importance up, remounting it and then what have you. What happens in between then is up to the writers of course.

And on the subject I do assume CC is the one sending her flowers/plants given the obvious connotations of her being The Kanaya Nymph but it's certainly possible that others have as well.
