MSPFA predates the most unpleasant sides of the fandom by far, and it remains unaffiliated to any distasteful individual or to their bigotry and harassment campaigns. It was originally created as a mirror website for the countless forum adventures on the official MSPA Forums. It survived the destruction of said forums in 2016 and kept expanding, while the community around it kept thriving.

Grant, the webmaster of MSPFA, is one of the most open, ethical and generous minds I've ever seen. He's also managing a free file hosting service, FileGarden, that allows adventure creators to host their many files. Additionally, the community is providing a large number of tools to develop one's adventure, create one's own website, and even create an offsite mirror of their MSPFA if they wish so. And there's no judgment there, no norms, everything is okay. You can make a full text adventure, an adventure with only stick figures, a sprite adventure, a photonovel, anything. Some people even use videos. There is no minimum quality required and people in the place support each other.
MSPFA is home to a gigantic number of fancomics AND original comics. Check Superego ( https://mspfa.com/?s=275 ), Cult Following ( https://mspfa.com/?s=13209 ) or Children of the Gun ( https://mspfa.com/?s=41177 ) for some stunning examples of original, non-Homestuck works.
To this day, the website is welcoming more than 65 000 comics. It is a crossroad for artists, a perpetual cradle of creativity and an unique jewel both in the Homestuck community and in the larger webcomic community.
