I keep having ideas for crossovers that are full-blown Sburb sessions. Pretty sure I'll never write ANY of them. Like the Lord of the Rings one in which Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin are the players; the game discs are magic rings; and the rest of the Fellowship are all refugees from different failed sessions.
A girl stands in her bedroom on her 26th birthday. As she waits for the mail-centipede to arrive, her fingers twiddle with her long grey beard. The beard twiddles back.
