At this point, EVERY fandom I'm in has a large, extra-shouty portion of the fanbase whose absolute creed is "The New Stuff is Automatically Bad, Because It Is New And/Or Woke." I've been pleasantly surprised on these forums to find that I can say "Actually, I really like the New Stuff" without two dozen keyboard warriors screaming their outrage and contempt at me for the next 48 hours. It's... refreshing.
