I think, id like to talk a bit about this painting, tbh. It really stuck out to me in a lot of ways, and. The, article? lets call it an article. Talks a lot about Hussie's dad, someone long gone by today. But having a piece by him... in some way it feels like having "his take" on the situation, on what was going on, yknow? Its always said that like, the artist lives on in their art, and.

I think there's something hauntingly beautiful to this piece. In many ways. It's digital painting in an extremely traditional art style - that's not common really. I've never really seen digital art like this, at least. And. He drew a bunch of portraits; I don't know who they are, but I wouldn't be surprised if any of those 3 people are hussie. And, there's something about a dad drawing their child, on the software made for him by that child, and like.

It almost feels like getting an extra chapter just from the art alone. You can see the theory of the colors applied - the colors, do look great. You can see why he believed in this. And that, even despite everything, he still painting a portrait of (likely) hussie, and the impressionist style with the fuzzy edges and not very strong colors. It does paint the portrait of someone dying, but still believing on a vision and on their child.

sorry to focus so much on the painting, I just. I think the red thing is a candle, atop a plate, lit in front of a painting, with art assets and a vase. Being one of if not the artist's final pieces, it's almost - if not literally - an artist drawing their own death. It's, not often we see painting about death, from someone about to, like this one.

I feel I glimpsed a lot about him just from the painting alone. Like he too had stuff to say about the everything.
