Maybe it's just because I follow people like Jakemorph on tumblr but I feel like there's tons to say about the comic. Some of it is speculation that may or may not amount to anything, but if you look at the commentaries, every update is filled with very deliberate choices on the details, so I think it's worth throwing that speculation out there.

And character-wise, like, just to nitpick you a bit here-

>the meat ship seeks to fight Dirk largely to get back Rose, who at this point is totally on board with Dirk's whole thing for better or for worse so it's not like there's a whole lot of tension there.

Hey, that's tons more tension than if Rose really were a captured princess!
