Both Spanish and Brazilian portuguese dubs are alternative tracks on the original Pilot upload!

Im reeeeally intrigued about the timing tho? Like, does it mean anything? I have a few theories:

1- They think a dub will make it more attractive(??? Makes the less sense, Homestuck is definetly more marketable on the. Anglo-sphere, dubbing it for this reason would be a waste of resources, but im also curious why only those two languages and not something like french for exemple)

2- They are moving foward with the series on YouTube and are dubbing the Pilot to promote it more (possible, the Helluva Boss pilot also got an official dub despite not being Canon to the series so i don't see it as contradicting the "true First episode" idea. Helluva also has other languages avaliable but the ones they did for Homestuck already def are more "popular" than the others, we could also see other dubs coming with time too)

3- They had some money laying around and decided to spend on dub (i mean, unlikely but those things happen lol ATHF got New episodes some time ago for that same reason so its not Impossible)
