Honestly Dirk being a big Roman History guy makes a lot of sense. I thought all the assests in Swiss's home look really good, and some of the portmantaeu's were really funny. Fucking. Senataur. Politrician. Great stuff.

Also, while I kinda hate him, I think his little tail wagging is very cute

Haven't had the chance to read the librarium fully yet, but the music is great and I'm glad we're getting a lot of lore in an S page like this.

The one thing I can comment on is the tail wag and the hop made me imagine Swiss as a bunny LOL it was very cute

Dirk you suck, you've never sucked more than in this sacred and prestigious moment of unveiling your fanspecies. All of your Epilogues shitty moves are nothing compared to this travesty of a worldbuilding. What did you even DO to these poor Satyrs.

Dirk took one look at the worldbuilding class and decided that he was better than this, no, he didn't need to "study" Tolkien or Herbert or Jemisin or Bigencenryin or anything.

i love love love swiss. yeah he sucks but he can so totally be saved and fixed from that...it's no wonder he's the one jane gets (the hand on the console has jane's color as nail polish, and also the command voice uses "shucks" which is a Jane-ism). he's 16 and let the class president role really get to his head. candy jane would probably actually like this kid over her real kid, so i wanna see him and tavvy duke it out a little bit...so good. auguhg. i love worldbuilding i love satyrs i love nymphs i love deltritus!!!

I pictured Swiss as being a huge, uppity nerd. But instead, he's a huge uppity nerd AND a valedictorian political scientist... and a meninist grifter! Because Dirk.

I thought the console person might've been June (because of course I would jump to that) but it being Jane makes more sense and is a cool as hell set-up for what the MeatCrew will be doing in Act 2... also, this means that one of the kids will be commanded by Karkat and I'm very excited to find out which one will get stuck with him screaming commands into their head all the time.

Phenomenal upd8! Loved the huge lore dump of Satyrs and their relationships with the Nymphs. The comments Swiss makes on the library page imply he doesn't know that some of his friends are Nymphs. Also, the music was ok. It didn't really fit the vibe of a library (I think, ironically, it would fit the Vrisual novel better while the music from the Vrisual novel would fit this scene better... how sillywacky). It did remind me of the soundtrack to crticially-acclaimed and beloved Undertale fan-AU comic Inverted Fate! So thats a plus I think?!

And like everyone else has said, his little tail and hopping around made me think he was a bunny, and despite already revealing himself to be a pretty shitty person (not a bad thing!), he's still pretty cute (which feels fucked up to say).

give the new kids a bad inside joke and have it negatively impact the story in 4 acts time

I mean not surprising due to his whole aesthetic, but actually reading it a instead of skimming just showed me how racist he is

I just hope the satyrs are named after cheese

I genuinely love the very concept of the satyrs thus far and seeing that stallions are just mlp earth ponies down to the "they have weird magic stuff going on that make them the way they are even if they're Normal Ponies" was great like
