This is probably the big reason no Sburb game could ever be made satisfyingly. Doing alchemy with a literally limitless array of all possible ideas, prototyping and lands working much the same. I like how like "infinite and magical" the alchemy system is but it starts with something as simple (and limited!) as punch cards.

definetly especially if you have to make all the stats, abilities, and art for an infinite number of possible combinations for items and the recipes to even make them can get complex which I think makes either way thinking of what we missed out on or what could've been made makes up for fun speculation and ideas like yea lets get the cueball recipes and make useless stuff out of it like it being combined with a fridge or sum

Calling alchemy "magical" is a great way to start a long argument.

Anyways, the further along we go from John the less we see people trying to make use of random stuff they have in their house/hive. The Wrinklefucker is not a particularly important hammer all things considered, but remains one of the most popular weapons in all of Homestuck thanks to a creative design and cool name.
