So on the old MSPA forums, I remembered someone once posted a tutorial for how to make a simple STRIFE! animation in Flash. Well, the old forums are dead, and Flash isn't really accessible anymore, so... I made my own!
I've assembled an instructional PDF and a supplemental sample tutorial file for use in the online Wick editor (an HTML5/javascript-compliant animation tool) which will assist you in making a basic STRIFE from start to finish (with the assumption that you know some simple animation keyframe/tween techniques), and complete with references for free, no-download-needed web assets for art and music.
It's basic and probably shoddy, but it'll get the job done. You can look through the PDF and the sample code from a dropbox I set up here.
If anyone makes anything with it, be sure to let me know!
Have fun :D
