Now that some more official Bancestor designs are coming out, will there be any changes to the plot or characters in the journal? I doubt there will be, but I figured I might as well ask on a less transient site than Discord.

Nope! We don't have any plans to alter anything we've done in response to the new Beforus lore. We were never going to stick 100% to what was established canon anyhow (we have Culled Kankri Vantas, for example) so I'm treating this as a "two cakes" type deal.
