Not a texan but BetaDave would never go to whataburger mostly bc bro wouldn't let him (bro made him scavenge for food in the apartment and avoid sword boobytraps) but alpha bro went to whataburger once, ironically, and spent the rest of his life making jokes about how Animal Style sounds horrible.

i always got scared when king of the hill came on late at night when CN switched to the adult swim block so i never watched it. i plan on doing it eventually though or else i'll die regretting it

KOTH is really good, and I've heard from texans it's genuinely WAY WAY WAY WAY better if you're from texas. It apparently has a LOT of texas centric jokes that people dont get outside of texas but they're so well integrated it's genuinely impossible to tell

i also like whataburger but ive been going considerably less over time

I wanna try whataburger really bad I feel like I'd love it, I just know the striders would NOT like it even if it was the best burger they ever had.

Okay, okay, we all love or haven’t watched King of the Hill, now I have an important question.

Did everyone else know that Dairy Queen's advertisements here in Texas were literally made for only us and Dairy Queen's gimmick everywhere else ISN'T being Texan? It's not even from here. This shook me in a way that none of my friends from other states could understand because they haven’t seen Dairy Queen's Texas marketing.

i cant even remember if i've seen dq's marketing here... the one closest to me is pretty far out to begin with but the icecream awesome. they should make another one nearer to me

It’s so different from other states that they have a genuinely completely different website for DQ Texas and a Texas unique slogan “That's what I like about Texas”. Up until a few years ago I just figured they were founded here but no they’re from the midwest
