the new borderlands game just came out last week! i'm playing it slooowly, currently level 8 as rafa.
i'm enjoying it! rafa's action skill (specifically the knives) is a little tough for me to get the hang of, but i think the gunplay and level design are quite good.
i've barely seen any of the story so no opinion about that yet lolol. the tone is definitely more serious than bl3, and the writing for claptrap is better (aka he's actually funny again). the timekeeper is kinda meh but i'm interested in seeing more...

the story is actually good it's kinda wild. the gameplay is really fun. it's great. very happy :)
the epilogues are the best part of homestuck
I've only rly played 2 (Kind of want to beat that game eventually) and remembered liking it but getting stuck in some places, if I ever beat bl2 and get a hankering for that style of game it's good to hear bl4 is fun, def seems way too expensive rn though

2 is the best one story-wise besides maaaaybe tales from the borderlands, which is a completely different kind of game. and YEAH bl4 is expensive, i was lucky to get it as a gift otherwise i would Not be playing so soon
is bl4 worth getting right now? ive been holding off because id rather just get the game and dlc all in one go (+ ive heard optimization is atrocious). other than that ive been a bl2 diehard and wanna play bl1/bl3

i haven't been having any issues running it but my PC is pretty new. i am also playing on low settings, which i didn't have to do on other recentish games like jedi fallen order or the silent hill 2 remaster O.O
i don't think you'll miss out on much by waiting for the patches and DLC! maybe they'll even do a sale when the DLCs start coming out. and you could pick up 1 or 3 while you wait — you might be confused if you jump into 4 without playing 3 first
