Hi, as I've slowly reintegrated myself back into the modern homestuck fandom, there's something from the early days that I'm not seeing get a lot of play anymore: fandom-wide aus.
Or like, I guess it's more accurate to say that back in day sometimes a specific au would get so popular a bunch of people would throw themselves into it and make it almost like it's own separate thing? The ones that comes to mind immediately is demonstuck and reverse-demonstuck (a mutated offshoot of demonstuck where instead of the derse dreamers being demons/monsters and prospit dreamers being hunters/angels/etc, it was the other way around; neither of which should be confused with heinousstuck), and also aquariumstuck. There were So many live action gifset askblogs back in the day for demonstuck. So Many people drew the striders as lil shades-wearing penguins. it was addictive
where did they all go? i miss them
