Aspect-Coding: Literal Edition. ~ATH and beyond.

TIME: ~ath (tilde ath = til death)

SPACE: exp& (expand)

HEART: m-> (marrow)

MIND: _board (underscore board = under scoreboard)

RAGE: @tack (attack)

HOPE: slap- (slapdash)

BLOOD: ,nd (command)

BREATH: half| (halfpipe)

DOOM: dis* (dis asterisk = disaster isk)

LIFE: ^cake (carrot cake)

VOID: !hing (not hing = nothing)

LIGHT: lode* (lodestar)


I came up with this set of aspect coding language names a while pack, obviously reusing a couple from homestuck because thinking about ~ath was the whole stating point for this. DO NOT come at me with ~ath being "more of a doom thing than a time thing" btw because it's NOT there just happens to be a lot of overlap between doom and time in theming around death but DEATH IS MORE OF A TIME THING THAN A DOOM THING and it's all about LOOPS and it's used to summon THE LORD OF TIME so like GET REALLLLLL. #pwnd #epic


use this thread to talk about how you think aspect-powered coding in these languages should work (or Not Work) for funsies, with canon ~ath as a point of reference. or not. you can do whatever you want i guess.
