Look at my profile. Look at it. I like classpects. I write about classpects. I like doing thought exercises about figuring out how hypothetical classpects might work. Remember those old tumblr blogs that just explain different classpects that get submitted? This is that. I want to be that. Reply with one and I'll try and give my own take on their powers and stuff and other people can too ^^
i would love to hear your take on the knight of light! prospit, if it matters.
I think I have a good handle on my Classpect (Heir of Heart) but I'd love to hear your take :D
what's your take on a Prince of Void, also what's your opinion on the idea of Lord Sidious being a Lord of Rage
CREATOR OF FORCES OF WHAT?!
a prince of time perhaps ?
what who said that
I'm a bard of Mind and would love to hear something :o)
Hell yeah that's a really interesting one! The format I'll do for this is pasting my own definitions of the class and aspect and then getting into them.
Knight: Someone who serves and protects their aspect, and serves and protects others and themselves through their aspect. This is accomplished by either using it as a weapon or making more of it, as there usually not very much of their aspect in their party.
Light: Knowledge, particularly narrative knowledge and narrative importance (spotlight), fortune, luck, literal light, foresight, literal sight. Often associated with emotional instability.
So! I think Knight of Light would fall equally into the serving and protecting their party through their aspect, and serving and protecting the light in their session. Most sburb sessions start out with a lack of light anyway, as no one goes in already understanding the game. Their moon actually is significant because it would be the main way they gain their insight, like Rose did through the Horrorterrors on Derse. They would either be awake before entering the game or wake up very soon after entering their medium, or wake up right after the first person in their party enters their medium, and use the knowledge they gain from the clouds to guide themselves or their friends along. They'd be very similar to Rose, but their actual ability to gain knowledge about EVERYTHING would be debuffed in exchange for using their powers for more combat abilities, as well as a duty to protect their sessions narrative importance and luck.
Their actual tangible powers would be random visions or premonitions that help them figure out how to play the game, and also to help them fight. They would know what moves would work, being able to predict their enemies attacks, and being intuitive, knowing where they need to go. They would be able to pull off some absolutely ridiculous Nagito Komaeda type bullshit and use their luck in a fight. Taking huge gambles for huge rewards in battle.
Similar to Dave, it'd be their duty to protect their timeline from becoming doomed. They'd be a huge supporting character and always lead their party members towards doing the things that end up being important in their story. Classpects are all about how characters interact with their story, which is why so many classes and aspects have to do with the narrative. A lot of light players are basically walking plot devices that an author can use in different ways depending on their class.
Hope this is good!
Mage of Mind would be huge, as it's been my very own classpect for god knows how long. I've started getting it on quiz results. I'm in too deep.
If there is a function to reply to specific replies, I dunno how to use it. So I'm just gonna try my best to answer these in order lol
rogue of time pleaseeee :3 ty ty
being the village freak isnt easy but somebody has to do it
Knight of blood?
i'm a fake fan i've barely read the comic (i'm on act 5 act 2)
re: cutecoercion
thank you so much !! i love your interpretation of knight of light :] very nice to hear from someone other than myself.
Heir: Someone who inherits their aspect by being given it, and/or representing/becoming their aspect, physically or metaphorically. They start out with their aspect affecting and controlling them on its own will, being saved or helped by their aspect when they’re in trouble, and eventually learn to consciously control it as they “inherit” it.
Heart: Basically soul, the essence of someone's being, and someone's emotions and motivations. It's speculated that it's also related to intuition. Heavily associated and likely directly tied to romance and relationships.
An Heir of Heart starting out would be someone who just kind've ends up stumbling into friendships and relationships that will be really important to the story. They'd meet people by coincidence and have a sense that leads them to suspecting that they should get to know that person better, even if it seems at first like they wouldn't really get along. As the game goes on, they'd forge a strong emotional bond with everyone in their game. They wouldn't be a leader by any means but would be a huge morale booster. Or the opposite. Depends on their relationship with a given person.
As they actually go through the process of inheriting their aspect, they'd directly and intentionally manipulate people's emotions. They'd deeply understand people's souls and know how to influence them on a deeper level than just emotionally. They'd have the power to really impact a person's psychology, changing them as a person. For better or for worse.
They'd also likely be uh. Very desirable. It'd be fitting for a Heir of Heart to have a lot of people crushing on them after they reach their full development.
i’m a maid of time! tell me your interpretation of it

This person also asked about my opinions on a certain character being a Lord of Rage but I unfortunately do not know this character, asking about character classpects would be better suited for a different topic thread anyway.
Prince(ss): Someone who destroys their aspect outright. They are at odds with their aspect, and usually even destroy their aspect within themselves. It’s also shown that they destroy their aspect so that it can be rebuilt stronger than it was before. (It is my own personal speculation, so feel free to take this or leave it, that a prince's ultimate challenge is to rebuild their aspect within themselves after they’ve destroyed it).
Void: Nothingness, absence, a lack of information, and darkness, but it’s also a blank slate with infinite potential. Void players can hide themselves especially well, and excel at avoiding observation from those they don’t need spying on them or escaping when they’re in danger by slipping away. A silly example would be having a slenderman type effect on surveillance cameras and such. Escapism is heavily associated with this aspect, as every known member of it has some sort of vice.
A Prince of Void would be someone who HATES not knowing something. Someone who's always itching to unravel the mysteries around them. I think they would start out with the false idea that they fully and completely understand themself as a person, and their ultimate challenge would be coming to terms with the fact that they can't, and that thinking you know everything about who you are will keep you from ever growing and changing as a person.
However, when it comes to things outside of themselves, the fact that they do destroy void is very important and extremely helpful. They will destroy whatever it is that is keeping something a mystery to their party. Remember, classpects have to do with the narrative, so most of their impact won't be from using their powers directly, and just doing things in the story that line up to their classpect. I actually am a bit stumped at what a Prince of Void's literal powers would be, and can only really figure out how they'd interact with the story, so if another person has any speculation on that, I'd love to hear it. Though maybe it really would just be a mostly passive class?
I also think they'd have the opposite of a slenderman effect. They wouldn't be able to stay hidden for jack shit and always make themselves known.
ANALYZE. IF YOU WOULD SO DESIRE. THE PROSPITIAN PRINCE OF RAGE.
IT IS A SET OF CLASS AND ASPECT I AM INTERESTED IN SEEING THROUGH THE PERSPECTIVE OF ANOTHER. HONK :O)
Okay I'm back I promise I didn't forget about everyone, I just got busy. Next up is another Prince!
Time: Self explanatory but also representative of entropy and associated with death, destruction, and exploitation via time traveling. Loose association to technology.
So, a Prince of Time would most certainly have some sort of complex regarding time. They don't exactly need to have some kind of terminal illness, though that would be fitting, but they'd definitely either have a paranoia about running out of time and rushing through everything they do in life, not savoring anything. However, another take on this could be that they're a huge procrastinator, struggling with executive dysfunction, being too depressed to do anything, or genuine laziness. They waste the time they're given and are always right on the edge. It'd be likely that they enter the game last or just in the nick of time before the meteor hits. Their ultimate challenge would basically be getting over whatever issues they face.
Their actual powers however would focus around freezing someone in time, or, if they're really powerful, literally speeding up someones aging process, destroying the time that they have left. Most time classes actually have really similar powers, Aradia and Dave can both time travel, and so could our hypothetical Prince. If the class doesn't outright determine the specific powers someone has over their aspect, it determines how they use them, and how those consequences effect others and their narrative. A Prince of Time would time travel for different reasons but heavily focus on destroying their adversaries' work, meaning they have to spend their time redoing or fixing something. If they were an antagonistic force to their other teammates, they'd probably find a way to cause the reckoning to happen way sooner and speed up time on the battlefield.
Bard: Bards seem to act on the will of their aspect by either doing what they can to allow their aspect to be destroyed or doing what they can to allow destruction to be caused through their aspect. They act as a vessel of their aspect and can be literally possessed by their aspect in order to cause destruction. Opposite to princes, they build up their aspect within themselves to cause destruction, as they always start out with their aspect destroyed within them.
Mind: Karma, thoughts, justice and decisions. I think consequences is the best word to sum this aspect, it's all about the consequences of people's actions and is tied to *why* people commit the actions they do. It heavily relates to people's mentality in general.
So, Bards are kinda funny. They're like the opposite from Heirs from what I can gather. Instead of starting out with their aspect manipulating them and eventually inheriting control over it, Bards start out actively suppressing their aspect within themselves, and slowly losing that control to become a conduit for it. They're almost like a puppet for their aspect.
A Bard of Mind would start out completely and totally apathetic. Not really caring much about the consequences of their own or anyone else's actions, and somehow always avoiding those consequences anyway. Eventually though, something would break that. They or something extremely important to them would be hurt or lost, and they'd slowly be overwhelmed with the desire for consequences for that. They would begin to understand how people work, and use that information to hurt others. They'd be able to read minds but to a very limited degree. They'd only see ways to destroy that person. Weaknesses or things they could use to blackmail them. They would essentially become negative karma incarnate.
not my classpect but id love to know what a rouge of time would look like
One of my oc's is a bard of space and I was wondering what your take on this classpect would be
Don't mind me, not requesting a classpect, just bumping so I can see when you post a new analysis ^w^
