I've been thinking of cosplaying Caliborn to the next con I go to. I have basically a complete package outfit-wise, I'd just need to wear a skull mask that has a bit more visibility. I do have one that qualifies, but I won't share myself with it on for privacy reasons.

hell yeah and real lol, last big project i worked on included a helmet with LEDs behind the lenses and after the first con wearing that the Visibility Problem moved itself to the top of the to-consider list for all future projects lmfao

oh sick, i was at ota last year too! was in my SMT strange journey & persona 3 cosplays, mental note made to make sure i bring HS next time lol
i don't think i'll be going to ota again the photoshoot setup just felt really rushed and i was surprised they let a 17 year old sign up to run the homestuck one. they didn't tell shoot organizers to bring any equipment but they didn't provide anything either.. some groups got the message early and brought their own gear, but others had no idea and had to just make due with a bunch of phone cameras.

i dressed up as dave strider for halloween in 2023. the guy at the movie theater recognized me and im still riding on that high as i live in a pretty small town.
i hate wigs. any character i dress up/cosplay as has my hair and nobody can stop me.
@ arctic: its always the best to have someone recognize you locally!!! I'm tempted to do some hs cosplay this year for halloween as well if I dont think of anything else :D i have a feeling alot of people will recognize it at my college haha
