1. i was under the impression up until today that hussie was essentially just not involved at all anymore with homestuck proper, so this is an immediate suprise
2. i was under the impression that the funding from patreon and makeship was going towards funding homestuck itself and the production of it.
3. the fact that all of these names i recognize in BC logs were complicit in the atrocious behavior behind the UHC takedown is horrifying and has soured my view of most of the team
im dissapointed in this team, and am hopeful that this isnt going to be swept under the rug.
Am expecting to be punished for posting this, which would further prove my assumptions to be true.

We dont know the exact details of why Roach left but its important to note he had been having medical problems for a long time before, and thats also why he stepped down as the front facing media manager (or at least, thats what was told to us), he for a long while had been struggling just to stream, so its hard to say if it IS due to all of this
JR clarifying anything about this would be some much needed transparency about this situation, but its likely this will be kept quiet

i am specifically talking about the analogy of "the wife-beater" in the Making Nice To Me segment. what i specifically mean to say is that i find a lot of the editorializing to be unhelpful at best, and get actively in the way of his point at worst. i'm almost entirely certain the team is not purely innocent here, i just think that maybe we should wait on some more official statements before shaming the team.

everything i have seen over the past however many years about hussie corroborates that andrew hussie is a serial abuser who cannot run a business. this has been a consistent pattern even since the very early days. people who aren't as invested in this kind of thing might not realize but the kind of mismanagement and willingness to throw other people under the bus lines up with hussie's behavior for the better part of a decade, even when all hussie was in charge of was people on a forum way back in the day.
a crude/distasteful example, but the way the point is conveyed does not change what the team is being accused of, i agree, i would wholeheartedly love to hear a team member clarify any of these things, and am very hopeful that they do refute these claims.
i wouldnt get my hopes up though.
