with a chocolate baby cupcake yeah yeah 🧁 -john lennon
It's been a while since I listen through all of their albums, but I still really enjoy most of their stuff. My favorite album is Revolver. Also Paul is the best Beatle.
they're the ones that rly got me to listen to music. Back in like 11th grade i heard some songs from magical mystery tour for the first time, i downloaded the album and it was like the first time i listened to an entire album for the first time front to back, and just kept doing them on repeat. i looked up stuff about the band and moved on to other albums of theirs and eventually to other artists! It was basically this huge awakening.
Fav songs (in no particular order): I Am the Walrus, Michelle, In My Life, Something, Hey Jude, She Said She Said, For No One, Norwegian Wood, and Strawberry Fields Forever.
I love the Beatles. I like researching about bands a lot and The Beatles have an extensive history lol
My favorite album is SGT Peppers, i found my love for prog and psychedelic rock through that album plus i love the whole colorful aesthetic they had

I love The Beatles. My Dad is a Beatle-Boomer so I had their history drilled into my head under pain of torture as a child, but re-discovered them during Covid lockdown. I probably read over 100 books on Beatles history in 2021 alone LMAO. Last year I did a big Liverpool pilgrimage and got to play 'Hey Jude' on the piano in Paul McCartney's childhood home (I'm a John girl tho).

'Magical Mystery Tour' is my fave Beatles album of theirs, so I love hearing a story about how it got someone into Deep Album Listening. Sgt Pepper gets on my nerves, but MMT has incredible soundscapes that easily holds up to the best of modern indie rock production, and captures that unique Beatles whimsy even better than its predecessor imo. 'Fool on the Hill' and 'Baby You're a Rich Man Now' are almost subconscious self-analytical theme songs about Paul & John in the era, which pairs nicely with the conscious autobiography of Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields.
My favourite songs are: 'Girl', 'Ticket to Ride', 'You Never Give Me Your Money', 'Long Long Long', and 'Day Tripper'. Ugh- but I also love 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)', 'I'm Only Sleeping', 'Hello, Goodbye', 'All I've Got to Do', and 'The Fool on the Hill'!!!!! And let's count 'Beware the Darkness', 'Jealous Guy', and 'Maybe I'm Amazed' for this list, since they were written before the band broke up...
i love the beatles so much they are seriously my favorite band. its bc of them that i began to make music hehehe. for a period of time (like 2020-2022) i ONLY listened to their songs, read books on them, and watched documentaries/movies about them. i remember when i listened to their albums i was so shocked because not a single song sounded bad to me (well… with a few obvious exceptions…) whenever someone mentions them im like a sleeper agent that got activated and i go crazy.
i actually love a lot of the earlier albums just cuz their songs are catchy as all hell. a few of my favorites are strawberry fields forever, i will, all my loving, you can’t do that, and your bird can sing, michelle, the entirety of golden slumbers/carry that weight/the end, and like a lot of songs from rubber soul… i dont even think i listed all of them because this was off the top of my head. but god i love the Beatles
SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MANY HOURS!!!
They were my first purchase on vinyl, and having the white album play during a cold winter evening while sipping hot tea is one of the finest memories i've ever had.

I USED TO BE SO INTO THE BEATLES AS A YOUNG KID! my dad actually had original vinyl pressings of the albums but sadly he (to be vague) had to give them away </3
"Lalonde" - Even her name sounds like a wine brand.
