When Vriska tells Vrissy 'we have to get you a god tier' it made me start thinking about what all the Earth C kids god tier classpects would be. Right off the bat we can assume that Vrissy's aspect would be Light, since both Vriska and Aranea were heroes of light, and all the trolls ancestors seem to share an aspect with their decedent.
This would imply that there must be some genetic factor, except when we look at the alpha and beta kids, we don't really see and genetics at play. For example, Dave being genetically Roxy and Dirk's kid, one could assume that he would be a Prince of Void or a Rogue of Heart, but that isn't what he is. In fact, we don't see any repeats in class or aspect with our (now adult) kids, and with the exception of Vrissy, I wanted to keep it that way.
excluding the classes and aspects from the eight kids, we're left with the classes Bard, Mage, Sylph, and Thief, and the aspects Blood, Doom, Mind, and Rage. I decided to only pick from these when deciding classpects for the Earth C kids.
VRISKA 'VRISSY' MARYAM-LALONDE: MAGE OF LIGHT
We've already established Vrissy would have the aspect of Light like Vriska and Aranea, and I didn't want to re-use either of their aspects, so that crosses off Thief and Sylph, which are both active classes, so I'm assuming Vrissy would also have an active class, the only active class left would be Mage.
The Mage is the active pair of Seer, which I've always interpreted as 'one who sees', so Vrissy would be one who manipulates seeing for her own personal gain. I connect this to her love of social media, even when people are posting the pictures of her with Gamzee's corpse she calls it 'our moment in the spotlight'.
I'm not yet up-to-date with Beyond Canon, so this is kind of all the evidence I have, but I would really like for this to be real just so we can learn a bit more about the role of the Mage.
HARRY ANDERSON: BARD OF MIND
I chose Bard for Harry at first because of his love of musical theater, I couldn't stop thinking of Hard to Be the Bard, but the more I thought about it the more I found it fitting.
As much game as Harry talks about how he could totally survive a day on Alternia, when faced with actual combat, he pretty much immediately has a panic attack. With the class of Bard being 'one who destroys', I would say having a panic attack is pretty damn well being destroyed by the mind, and we also see him anxiously blow up Vrissy's phone when she doesn't immediately respond, so he's definitely an over-thinker.
I also chose the aspect of Mind for Harry mostly because of how he compares with Terezi, specifically the scenes where she acts out trials, and Dirk even talks about how they alchemized 'all of those fun little costumes', which we see that Harry also likes making costumes. I also assume god tier outfits are a little bit customizable, since Dirk seems to have edited his, so I like to think Harry would immediately remove the codpiece from the bard outfit.
TAVROS CROCKER: THIEF OF DOOM/RAGE
I flip-flopped a lot between Doom and Rage for Tavvy, and I still think it could work either way. I think giving him the Rage aspect would be interesting because of his relationship with Gamzee. You might be thinking 'aw but Tavvy seems so sweet like we've never even seen him get mad!' but we originally thought it was odd that Gamzee had the Rage aspect until he finally hit his breaking point.
Personally, I prefer the Doom aspect for Tavvy. From the start he sort of has a doomed aura around him, with John thinking 'he always looks so somber and sad', but I specifically like the Doom aspect pair with the Thief class.
This one might be kind of a stretch, since he doesn't seem like a very 'active' character, and in comparison to Vriska or Meenah, he's total opposite. My two main arguments for this class are first, when John tries to kidnap him and Tavvy has 'the ghost of a smile on his face', his secret Faygo bottles, or when Tavvy 'snuck [Vrissy] into Uncle Jake’s poker game last month'. These are all events of stealing or sneaking around.
But I think the most compelling point is looking at the Class and Aspect together. Maybe this is closer to Rogue, like how Roxy's 'stealing void' makes her able to create objects, but I'm choosing to interpret Tavvy's 'stealing doom' as him able to make others feel better.
We see something like this when Harry Anderson asks Vrissy if she wants to talk and she responds with 'What are you, my moirail?', only to then see her ranting to Tavvy, even though he's her Kismesis, not Moirail. We also see Harry going to Tavvy when Vrissy isn't responding, searching for help or maybe reassurance.
Once again, I think this argument could also work with being a Thief of Rage, calming others down by stealing their Rage from them.
YIFFANY LONGSTOCKING LALONDE-HARLEY: SYLPH OF BLOOD
I was originally going to have Yiffy be a Thief of Blood, but Sylph is described as a female class so I felt inclined to give it to her instead of Tavros, even though I don't really think gender matters, like– 'When asked about the possibility of "[making] a female character a prince", Andrew Hussie simply responded "sure"'.
"[making] a female character a prince", Andrew Hussie simply responded "sure"'.However, I liked the idea of Yiffy being a Sylph because not only is it paired with Witch, Jade's class, but it's also Kanaya's class, and I think that would add another interesting dynamic to their relationship.
I always think of blood as close friends or family, like how people say 'blood is thicker than water'. Considering Yiffy's entire existence is due to Jade wanting a family and Rose being a close enough friend to help, Blood feels incredibly fitting for her. I, of course, also have to bring Dave and Karkat into this, since Jade originally wanted 'all three of us' to have a kid together and Karkat's aspect is Blood.
Since trolls don't have families like humans do, the aspect Blood has always represented friendship for Karkat, being the 'friend leader', and I also connect this to Yiffany. Jake English thinks 'her and Tavvy would have been fast friends' and I think if she had actually been allowed to talk to the other kids, she would have been a friend leader similar to Karkat.
I can't say I'm the best at understanding classpects, and it's pretty unlikely the Earth C kids will ever be able to reach God Tier, but these are just some of my ideas. Feel free to share your own!
