Electra's law: As a Homestuck discussion grows longer, the probability of someone mentioning Morrowind approaches one.
Prequel welcome, I guess?
Eyyyy, love the Elder Scrolls. I finished Daggerfall a while back (the Unity remake, obviously) and it was actually more fun than I was anticipating. I had to use a guide, but I think that's pretty much par for the course for games that are that old. It was also really cool to see the formative parts of the lore that had yet to be solidified in Morrowind. If only someone would remake Arena so that I could play that one too... Alas.
i keep falling in and out of a skyrim modding phase, i should probably also reinstall morrowind/oblivion since i got it from steam sales
"Lalonde" - Even her name sounds like a wine brand.
if you play morrowind use openMW. also daggerfall convinced me i could feasibly make some sort of rpg of any quality as long as it's fun since daggerfall is a game that i believe was not developed as much as it was conceived, like a baby. it's a good game but i wonder sometimes how it led to a successful videogame franchise.

openmw modding is popping off these days. from what i understand the usual strategy involves mod organizer 2 but i like getting my grubby little hands all over the files so i have to individually register all the mod folders and then organize the plugins myself which totally isn't a pain in the ass
yahoo! yippee! wahoo!
This reminds me, I need to rewrite the draft of an essay I was making a couple years ago about the general parallels between Homestuck and TES lore, and specifically the demiurgic nature of both works + the shocking similarities between LE and Talos.
