I really like Clark Powell (flare). He also did the psycholonials soundtrack, and even if you haven't played it and arent in the mood for a hussie VN about the lockdown, clown anarchy and gender, you should Really listen to the soundtrack it is So Good and it has an Excellent Flare remix.
I also have a special place in my heart for unite synchronisation by Malcolm Brown which is both my favourite flash and my favourite song. It is So hype and so self indulgently Cool that i cannot not smile while listening to it.

Regardless of whether out-of-HS contributions are included I have to go with Michael Guy Bowman.
I have to add to this to second Jeremy "Solatrus" Iamurri. I found out only after I had been listening to them for a while that he happened to compose a lot of my favourite homestuck songs. Frost, Chartreuse Rewind, Swing of the Clock, Portrait, Doctor (Deep Breeze Mix).
Something about the instrumentation he uses just hits the nostalgia exactly right.
