Exactly what it says on the tin, share or talk about your favorite point and click adventure titles.
These were a favorite of mine on flash game sites, primarily the Don't Escape series by Scriptwelder. The ones on the Cartoon Network site were my bread and butter as a youngen, particularly one Ben 10 game I've never been able to find after (admittedly surface level) digging. The I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream game adaptation is also pretty iconic, I've only watched a playthrough but I like how it expands upon the original short story quite a bit.
Yeah, I've never played I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, but I adore the story, and I think the game adaptation playthrough that I watched was phenomenal. I think I heard that the same team did Darkseed, which is another like "more rewarding to watch than to play" games, but with incredible HR Giger artwork and an oppressive horror atmosphere. The sequel also turns the story into a farce about dunking on how much the main character from the original game sucked, and is fun in its own way while still being appropriately horrifying.
Grim Fandango seems like a good contender for best point and click ever, but a lot of good point and clicks game out of the golden age--Toonstruck is a really good one, if you have a high level of tolerance for the like, Warner Brothers 90s in-house style, like Animaniacs for a slightly more mature audience. And it has tons of Christopher Lloyd, which is always nice.
Oh, and have you heard of a game called Hive's Swap?
This post was a Magic Mirror production. Problem Soothe, now playing in a theater near you: https://magic-mirror.neocities.org/problemsoothe/ps0000
I am really a fan of Monkey Island and its sequels. It's fun with a bit of meta commentary sometimes and even though they do an "it was all a dream" a lot, it's great and you should play it.
Also don't know if it counts but don't touch anything is good as well. Not really adventure, because you stay in one room, and they made it 3d at some point, but the puzzles are great.
I basically grew up on Monkey Island and the Sam and Max games they're so GOATed.
"Without love, it cannot be seen."
my favorite point and click series is Cube Escape by Rusty Lake, though all the rusty lake games are pretty good!
i did dabble in monkey’s island. so i need to finish it!
but im going to have to check out all these other games, since point and click is my fav type. of game!

All of the Rusty Lake collection. the cube escape ones are good, but their other games are better.
Submachine. great games, especially since they were remastered. playing them again after not being able to use the flash versions was awesome, and now they have all sorts of extra content. I can’t recommend Submachine Submachine enough.
This is some straight up delirious biznasty, Dawg!!
Re: "Hive's Swap"
I only know of a game called High Slop, is that what you're referring to? Just kidding, I've been meaning to watch or play it sometime, I like Joey and Jude.
Re: vriskazone
I can't believe I forgot to mention Sam and Max. Easily my favorites of the genre. What else is there to say really.
I've played quite a few of the flash games mentioned here when I was younger, but that was quite some time ago now, so I think I'll revisit some of these today. I've made note of the other titles too, I've always heard talk of those like Monkey Island and The Grim Fandango but I've not actually got around to checking them out myself.
