i miss feferi so much. i feel like i've told alex before about my a6 AU where feferi takes the ring instead of aranea and tries to usurp the condesce, but i think about it all the time. it's an interesting way to explore feferi's relationship to her ancestor and her drive to do what she couldn't, on alternia. it would also IMO have been so cool to see how she would've interacted with the living game members- how would terezi, karkat, & kanaya react to seeing one of the trolls who died come back? how would they have approached the fact that she was now a danger to all of them, even though she was a tentative friend? does kanaya feel embarrassed about drinking her blood while feferi was lying dead on the ground? questions ripe for this AU which i may never actually write, LMFAO.
Everybody needs to hear someone say “Nobody else will do. It has to be you", even if it's just once in their lives. As long as you can feel sure those words were sincere, you can live through anything, no matter how painful.
i have a lot of thoughts on ways feferi could be interesting in the modern era of homestuck but this one is still such a banger al... i really hope there are ways she can make a comeback, people always pair her and nepeta as the two characters that dont get enough screen time but nepeta gets a lot more time to shine comparatively... not that im complaining to be clear i just wish feferi got something to Do. it's tough when she's been given so much narrative importance only for her role to (i feel) be given unfairly to other characters like meenah and even jane to some extent. id love to see her contrasted with characters like dirk or jane or hell even hsbc karkat, playing the revolutionary she always envisioned herself to be. #sad.

Feferi really was set up to be something important. With her connection to the Horrorterrors and having her wish granted with the Dream Bubbles and communicating with Jade after she died. But Aradia suddenly took over the guide of Dream Bubbles and Meenah was made to apologize to the Feferi fans because Hussie hated typing her quirk. She really could have an interesting talk with her cousin, Jane, about The Condesce. Maybe give a firmer talk with Jake as she sees another Hope(less) Player. The only friend she could rely on now after death is probably Nepeta because most of the other trolls are pricks and Sollux is with Aradia.
yeah it was just kinda crazy for doc scratch to be like btw its expected for heiresses to challenge the empress for the throne [this will never come up again for feferi] like it's just sad... she should've been there... or at the very least she should've been part of the story to some extent that her not being there was a specific subversion... and now i can only hope that that she comes up to then act a commentary for the fact that she wasnt there as some grander point on audience expectation and then disappointment at not meeting that expectation... idk...
tbh i really think the BC team is trying to rescue what mess hussie did in the original comic, friendly reminder that Feferi literally just say 3 lines of dialogue and then it's killed, and then being replaced by Meenah, but it's kinda on the league of Equius in terms of relevancy unfortunately, but one can dream, we had 1 pixel of Sollux, and a sea of Nepetas so i think it's possible
