I was wondering, does anyone have any good Flash tutorials? Failing that, does anyone have any advice for creating interactive animations, I.E. the Strife! pages without flash? Anything helps!

There's actually a link to a old MSPA STRIFE page tutorial from 2013 on Homestuck.net about making a STRIFE game in Flash, maybe a bit complicated but it's all i could find on the subject. It's also made by the creator of Lucidstuck (https://mspfa.com/?s=3039&p=1) (I haven't read it but damn! I gotta make time for that.)

I've never used flash beyond extracting really weirdly made assets that don't show up on JPEXS properly so i can't really help you much further than that. I did make a write up on what you can do outside of Flash, but your options are limited to Game engines for the most part. I'll take this as an opportunity to rework what i wrote on the MSPFA discord and put it here.

Wick Editor: Basically abandoned, it hasn't gotten an update in years, but it's a simple game engine which I've seen people use to make interactable animations. Though I personally never used it. (It's still abandoned but I've seen people recommend it on occasion.) I think people mainly recommend it since it's somewhat similar to Flash, but it uses HTML.

Godot: I've personally used this, The current version of Godot has a nice HTML export and it's been used to make nice minigames before, like for example SBURB.EXE uses it a bunch, like for example THIS AMAZING WALKAROUND (https://mspfa.com/?s=49229&p=390) alongside simpler games. Though if you haven't made a game before, I wouldn't recommend using Godot since from what I've used of it, it can be difficult. (Though to be fair, i might be stupid. I did decide to make a fully-fledged walkaround for my first Godot game when all i used before this was Unity.)

Scratch (With Turbowarp): It's a decent choice. Mainly noting that it exists here because I have seen it work.

Google Web Designer: I'm not sure how complex you can make things in Google Web Designer but I've seen it be recommended a bit, I'm mainly aware of it because that's what Boogs used in SBURB TAS. So I at least know it can do STRIFE pages. (I can tell since I can download the images on screen) (https://mspfa.com/?s=37955&p=405)

Also ANY game engine that can export to HTML can work for this purpose. (Phaser, Gdevelop, GameMaker, Unity, etc.)

Sidenote: In a worst case scenario, you could always just make an animation of the game you wanted to make. That's what Home-Skillet did here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3sHxwhDmhEz)

Sidenote 2: I'm mainly posting this now because i forgot to send this a few days ago. Good thing i write long posts on Notepad++.
