It's hard to choose just one favourite, but I do think sturgeons deserve more love. Absolutely massive fish, but they're just gentle giants with little moustaches.
ooghh im really caught between sun fish, coelacanth, and rainbow trout-
sun fish are so dumb which I love them for,,
coelacanth is an incredibly cool fish with a neat appearance to match,
..and uh.. rainbow trouts are pretty,,

to eat? salmon. smoked, sushi, poke, filet, whatever I’ll go sicko mode on it
as a Creature? the humble khuli loach. Before we had to move cross-country my dad kept a decently large aquarium and he had a loach and I became Obsessed as a kid. In highschool I took an astronom-oceanography combo class and at one point we had to make up our own fish in whatever medium and I sewed together a khuli inspired guy
Sockeye salmon aren't my favorite fish. I like them during breeding season because they get all twisted and horrible because they're horny or whatever.
I also like to eat salmon, along with many other creatures that live in the water.

I love humuhumunukunukuapua'a. They're so silly a cute, they got them lips going on and everything. Pretty colors and patterns too, and I love the occasional meme that comes about from them.
